Metcash Limited fiscal year 2010 revenues rose 4.5% to A$11.6 billion and net profit rose 12.4% to A$227.6 million.

 
8:40 PM Sydney, Australia – Metcash Limited revenue rose 4.5% and net profit rose 12.4%.

Metcash Limited, the grocery and liquor wholesaler said fiscal year 2010 revenues rose 4.5% to A$11.6 billion from A$11.1 billion a year ago. Net profit for the year rose 12.4% to A$227.6 million compared to net profit of A$202.5 million a year ago.

Metcash Limited, in the last one year traded as high as A$4.74 in October 2009 and as low as A$3.84 in May 2010. Based on the yesterday’s closing price of A$3.93 the company has market cap of A$3.01 billion.
